Raymond Tatum is a resident of Atlanta, Georgia with worldwide aspirations. A self-starter who is deeply spiritual with high ambitions, Ray is no stranger to adversity. Overcoming challenges is his forte, you see, in 1969 Ray, a Vietnam Veteran, received a Purple Heart as a result of injuries sustained, and his life continues to be an uphill climb faced with courage, fortitude and hopes of planting his flag at the summit.

When asked how he's become a pillar within his community, Ray points people to "The Seven Principles of Gittin' Off Zero" a few words of wisdom by which he invites you to broaden your mind, strengthen relationships, read relentlessly, and among others, eat to be healthy as well as fatten your savings account. The phrase, "getting me off of zero" which simply means doing wonders starting with absolutely nothing was colloquially introduced by Ray and his associates as "gittin' off zero" in the early 1980's.
